Ode on Solitude Summary in English:-
The poet says that if a man is having some acres of land which has come from his parents, he would be considered a happy man as he can breathe in his own native land.
How will it happen? The poet says that the person can keep his own cattle and cows in the ground and get good milk. His field’s wall provide him with crop to manage his food and bread. The flocks ship and birds will provide him clothing and attire. The trees in the field will give him the necessary shades to pass summer with comforts. When winner comes, he can get fire woods from the trees. So the field will look after him for all his necessities of life.
So he can pass out his days, months and years without any concern. This will give him the peace of mind and he will be in good health throughout. He can enjoy sound sleep at night, can proceed with his studies well and can have good recreation. The place will give him good opportunity to go for meditation for peace of mind and energy.
The poet wishes to live alone and unnoticed till the time of his death. The world would not know about his death and when he is laid to rest, there would not be a single stone on his grave to identify the place he has been buried.
So this is how the poor wants to live his life, a life in solitude. The poet wishes to lead a noble life.

कवि कहता है कि अगर किसी व्यक्ति के पास कुछ एकड़ जमीन है जो उसके माता-पिता से मिली है, तो वह एक खुश आदमी माना जाएगा क्योंकि वह अपनी जन्मभूमि में सांस ले सकता है।
कैसे होगा? कवि कहता है कि व्यक्ति अपने मवेशियों और गायों को जमीन में रख सकता है और अच्छा दूध प्राप्त कर सकता है। उनके खेत की दीवार उन्हें अपने भोजन और रोटी का प्रबंधन करने के लिए फसल प्रदान करती है। झुंड जहाज और पक्षी उसे कपड़े और पोशाक प्रदान करेंगे। खेत में लगे पेड़ उसे गर्मियों में आराम के साथ गुजरने के लिए आवश्यक शेड देंगे। विजेता आने पर, वह पेड़ों से आग की लकड़ी प्राप्त कर सकता है। इसलिए क्षेत्र जीवन की सभी आवश्यकताओं के लिए उसकी देखभाल करेगा।
इसलिए वह बिना किसी चिंता के अपने दिन, महीने और साल गुजार सकता है। इससे उसे मानसिक शांति मिलेगी और वह अच्छे स्वास्थ्य में रहेगा। वह रात में ध्वनि नींद का आनंद ले सकता है, अपनी पढ़ाई अच्छी तरह से कर सकता है और अच्छा मनोरंजन कर सकता है। वह स्थान उसे मन की शांति और ऊर्जा के लिए ध्यान में जाने का अच्छा अवसर देगा।
कवि अपनी मृत्यु के समय तक अकेला और बिना किसी कारण के रहना चाहता है। दुनिया को उसकी मौत के बारे में नहीं पता होगा और जब उसे आराम करने के लिए रखा जाएगा, तो उसकी कब्र पर एक भी पत्थर नहीं होगा, जिसे वह दफनाया गया है।
तो इस तरह गरीब अपना जीवन, एकांत में जीवन जीना चाहता है। कवि एक उदात्त जीवन जीने की इच्छा रखता है।
